QUANTUM THREAT INTELLIGENCE
Germany's Federal Ministry of the Interior, the Federal Ministry for Digital Affairs and State Modernization and the BSI published a guideline for implementing the EU Roadmap on Post-Quantum Cryptography on October 16, 2026, addressed to governments at every level, companies and operators of critical infrastructure: high risk systems moved to quantum safe cryptography by the end of 2030 at the latest, the broader transition largely complete by 2035, with systematic quantum risk assessments, named responsibilities and binding deadlines, early supply chain involvement and crypto agility built into architecture and procurement. The shape matches Canada's ITSM.40.001. Canadian suppliers into European programs now have a second set of dates to meet, and both start with an inventory.
Every advance in quantum computing shortens the window for migrating long lived infrastructure off quantum-vulnerable encryption, and data captured today can be decrypted later. Fabric Networks helps energy, government, telecom and community networks move to quantum-safe encryption on their own timeline, not an adversary's.
