QUANTUM THREAT INTELLIGENCE
The US Government Accountability Office reported that federal agencies have not completed the first steps of post-quantum migration: one of 24 major agencies has finished its inventory of priority systems and vulnerable algorithms, five use automated discovery tools, none has fully identified the funding required, and only one has begun compatibility testing. GAO made 89 recommendations in a sensitive version of the report; 12 of 23 agencies fully agreed to implement them. The hard part is not the algorithms, it is knowing where the cryptography is. That is the step most organizations skip, and the one that cannot be bought later.
Every advance in quantum computing shortens the window for migrating long lived infrastructure off quantum-vulnerable encryption, and data captured today can be decrypted later. Fabric Networks helps energy, government, telecom and community networks move to quantum-safe encryption on their own timeline, not an adversary's.
