AV26-1079: HPE Networking Wireless Operating Systems AOS-10 and AOS-8 Carry Multiple Vulnerabilities

The Cyber Centre published AV26-1079 for multiple vulnerabilities in HPE Networking Wireless Operating Systems, the AOS-10 and AOS-8 software on HPE Aruba wireless controllers and access points, with fixes in 10.8.1.2, 10.7.2.7, 10.4.1.14, 8.13.3.1 and 8.10.0.24. Wireless controllers are common in municipal buildings, hospitals, plants and campuses and often sit on the same management network as everything else. Patch to the listed versions and confirm controller management is not exposed beyond the operations network.

Why this matters for your infrastructure

Every advance in quantum computing shortens the window for migrating long lived infrastructure off quantum-vulnerable encryption, and data captured today can be decrypted later. Fabric Networks helps energy, government, telecom and community networks move to quantum-safe encryption on their own timeline, not an adversary's.
